A Slow-Made Story.

Lou Living is born from the meeting of two landscapes I love. The vibrant, sun-worn colours and textural soul of Marrakesh, and the quiet, chalky beauty of the English coastline.
From Marrakesh comes colour, pattern, and the artistry of slow craft.
From the South Coast comes softness, pale sands, ocean sunsets, and an ease that invites you to breathe a little deeper.
These places guide my palette, my materials, and the scents I blend. Each piece carries a little warmth from one, a little calm from the other, and the intention to bring you closer to moments of mindful stillness.

My background in holistic therapies shapes every candle I create.
I’ve always believed in the power of scent as a form of care - a way to steady the breath, soften the mind, and reconnect with yourself.
Still Light was born from this belief, created in a moment where I needed that gentle support more than ever.
In a world that moves quickly, these blends offer a simple way to invite wellbeing back into your day - a small ritual that asks nothing of you except to pause.
Each candle is crafted with intention, weaving essential oils chosen not just for fragrance, but for how they hold you, how they invite stillness, and how they create a soft place to land.

At Lou Living, making is a slow, intentional practice.
Each piece begins by hand - porcelain shaped and textured with patience, candles blended gently in small batches, always guided by purpose rather than pace. This slower process is at the heart of my ethos. Creating beauty that feels grounding, meaningful, and made with care from the very first touch.

Everything I produce, from jewellery to aromatherapy - is crafted in a way that honours material, time, and the person who will one day hold it. And that ethos continues long after each piece leaves my hands. All packaging is either recyclable or designed to be kept and reused, with earrings nestled in boxes lined with soft sheep’s wool from a small farm near where I found my dog, Rupi.
Nothing is accidental; everything is considered. Every element tells a story.

My hope is that this intention becomes part of your experience too - that what arrives at your door carries the calm, craft, and thoughtfulness that shaped it.
