• All products are handmade in small batches, so slight variations in colour, scent throw, and finish are normal and not considered faults.

• We make every effort to display colours and details accurately, but we cannot guarantee your device's display is fully accurate. 

• Candle burn times stated on product pages are estimates based on testing under recommended conditions and may vary. 

For your safety, please follow these guidelines when burning Lou Living candles: 

• Never leave a burning candle unattended 

• Keep candles away from children, pets, draughts, and flammable materials 

• Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn 

• Burn on a heat-resistant, flat surface 

• Allow the wax to melt to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling 

• Stop burning when approximately 1cm of wax remains 

• Never move a lit or recently extinguished candle 

• All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable 

• We currently ship within the United Kingdom only 

• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; we will confirm acceptance by email 

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, for example in cases of pricing errors or stock unavailability. If this happens, we will notify you and issue a full refund 

• We make reasonable efforts to keep stock information accurate, but availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed 

Payment is taken securely at checkout via Squarespace Payments. We do not store your full payment card details. 

• We aim to dispatch orders within 3 business days of purchase 

• Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates and not guaranteed 

• Risk in the products passes to you once they are delivered to the address provided at checkout 

• It's your responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address - we are not responsible for non-delivery caused by an incorrect address 

As a UK consumer, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, for a full refund. Please see our separate Returns & Refunds Policy for full details of how this works, including any exceptions (for example, for hygiene reasons on certain jewellery, where applicable). 

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement, or refund. Please contact us at hello@louliving.co.uk with your order number and photos of the issue as soon as possible, and we will resolve this promptly. 

• Lou Living gift vouchers are delivered by email and are redeemable against any product on our site 

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable for cash but can be used for purchases until their stated expiry, if any
